Clarksville, TN – This past December 24th, the Clarksville community came together for an event filled with joy, flavor, and holiday spirit, hosted by Antojitos Mexicanos Doña Anita. In a heartwarming gesture to thank her loyal customers and the community, Doña Anita transformed her usual location at 557 Dover Rd into the setting for an unforgettable Christmas Fiesta.
Starting at 10 am, the air was filled with delicious aromas. Doña Anita, well-known for the authentic Mexican food she serves Monday through Saturday, delighted attendees with a traditional feast of tacos and comforting green pozole, accompanied by warm ponche and refreshing hibiscus (Jamaica) and pineapple waters.
A Special Recognition

One of the most meaningful moments of the afternoon was the presentation of a Certificate of Recognition to Doña Anita. This honor was awarded for the tremendous support she has consistently provided to La Voz Latina, as well as her invaluable sponsorship during La Voz Latina’s 2nd Anniversary celebration. This certificate symbolizes not only her business success but also her genuine commitment to strengthening the media outlets that serve our Hispanic community.
Special Guests and Holiday Magic

Music and great company were in high supply. Among the attendees was Don Teofilo from Teofilo’s Ice Cream Paletería, who joined the festivities to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere. In a sweet holiday gesture, Don Teofilo brought paletas (popsicles) as a special Christmas gift for Anita, demonstrating the strong bond of friendship among local entrepreneurs.

To add a touch of magic, Magical Santa Bear was present, livening up the event and spending time with the families who gathered. Additionally, this first-ever Christmas Fiesta featured the support of Carnitas El Michoacano, who were in charge of preparing the delicious tacos that everyone enjoyed.
The event was a resounding success, filled with community members sharing laughter and blessings. Doña Anita reaffirmed that her spot on Dover Rd is more than just a place to eat; it is a meeting point for family and friendship.
